The ‘Trick Photography and Special EffectsEbook’ is the comprehensive guide on how to create breathtaking images in pin-point detail using your DSLR Camera and it is created by PhotoExtremist.com founder and owner Evan Sharboneau.
Hailed the ‘trick photography bible’, this e-book shows you an extraordinary array of unorthodox methods to create jaw-dropping images at literally the click of a button. These are NOT normal by any means however Evan provides a valid explanation for everytechnique he teaches.
For example he teaches you a simple technique called ‘Insomnia’.
This is a truly remarkable skill once learned and is so painfully easy to apply. You take two pictures and you put them together back at your PC using Photoshop (Note: The technique is much more explicit than that but I’m unfortunately not allowed to reveal it due to legalities). The result, however, is Hollywood Movie impressive.
The method goes into depth, step by step, about how to systematically change your perception of photography and eliminate the incorrect core understanding you may have.
I’ve read many books over the last few months on this specific topic (trick photography and special effects) and don’t get me incorrect, I read some great material.
However, this was one of the first guides I read that gave you EXACT instructions about how to create every possible type of trick photography idea out there. Not to mention Evan’s style of simplistically explaining each elemental point of the process make it an enjoyable and precious read.

Is Trick Photography possible without purchasing software?
Absolutely. Evan will take you by the hand and show how to create radically remarkable photos that look more realistic than those poorly done, fake-looking compositions where people take abunch of different pictures and make a photo collage out of them.
Please dont misunderstand, some of these pieces look excellent, but if you just go to Google Images, steal some pictures and slap it onto another photo you took, it lacks realism, which is what Evan explains we’re going for.
What Evan reveals is that with an ordinary camera you can capture an authentic image. Once this has happened, you are ready to deconstruct the photo. This is drastically different from other trick photography books as they will all teach methods of construction and NOT chronological implementation (something Evan refers to as a simple implementation strategy).
After reading this method and the tactical explanation behind it, it really does seem like an creative idea. This is one of the many techniques Evan teaches in the Trick Photography Book.

So what is Evan’s eBook about?
Evan’s eBook is an photography eBook that focuses on creating special effects and optical illusions with your camera. Evan created the guide with both beginners and advanced photographers in mind. The beginning of the book reviews the basics that novices should learn – from camera bodies to apertures, and tripods to white balance. It is not a comprehensive guide on the basics for beginners, but he covers just enough for beginners to be able to effectively use the concepts in the other sections. Most of the eBook is dedicated to the cool tricks and effects that people would want it for.

Is Trick Photography and Special Effects For You?
If you’ve ever wanted to experiment in special effects photography, learn about light painting, or use Photoshop to trick up your images, this ebook and videos are perfect.
However, to take full advantage of the tricks, you really need a DSLR camera. Point and Shoot cameras can take some trick images, but because most lack the more advanced settings required (like bulb mode), you might find you’re frustrated that you can’t take the shot you want.
Also, if you are more interested in photography that deals in natural light, developing good composition, and taking traditional photographs, then this is not for you.
